ICCD Mission
The general purpose of the ICCD is as follows: To provide educational and professional development opportunities for current or future administrators and faculty members of community colleges and of their peer institutions within New York and surrounding states.
To pursue its mission, the ICCD will undertake a range of activities, of which the following are examples:
A. Present annual executive development programs for current and potential community college presidents.
B. Present annual professional development programs for community college faculty members.
C. Present other professional development programs for community college administrators and those who seek such positions.
D. Develop partnerships with similar organizations to benefit from shared support services and to foster collaboration between community colleges in New York State and their peer institutions in the United States.
